Santiago 2

Leaving that afternoon, we spent the morning walking The Lonely Planet guided tour! Through a park housing Cerre Santa Lucia we found amazing views into the city and a puppy that Zoë would have smuggled home if she could!!

On into the financial district revealed amazing architecture so unusual in South America thus far.
Arriving at Palace de al Moneda (Presidential Palace) we found a good display of Chilean pride with the amount of flags flying.

We ended in Plaza de Armes overlooked by its impressive cathedral for an hour to watch the world go by with a coffee. An afternoon bus took us over the Andes and into Mendoza (Argentina). A well deserved steak de Lomo and a bottle Malbec red saw the evening away!
