Lagoon Verte (Green)
On Thursday we departed onto our tour to Uyuni in Bolivia, through the Atacama Desert and Salt Flats. Group of six, Irish pair, English couple and Edgar our driver in his Toyota Land Cruiser! Day one through the desert ending at a hostel at 4600m, altitude affecting most in some way but a fun evening.
Day two started at the Red Lagoon with Flamingo’s, then further through the desert ending at a Salt Hotel, quite novel and fun, literally made of blocks of salt! Great for licking the walls…

Saturday, our final day took us to the salt flats. 90x120km wide, no roads just flat, white salt! Great images taken before returning to Uyuni, A desert town with nothing, we got a late bus out to Potosi.
