5 day road trip into Uruguay. 'Hector' our mad taxi driver took us from Carnaval in Gualeguaychu (ARG) to Mercedes (URG) at 120 kmh on a 45 kmh road (two birds didn't see him coming!). One night there then onto Colonia a lovely quaint tree lined town on the coast. Onwards by bus to Montevideo the capital for a further noght, and finally onto Punta Del Este for a well earnt few days on the beach - only problem torrential rain for 24 hrs! Managed a day in the sun before returning by Ferry to Buenos Aires! Great little adventure, and a nice trip to Uruguay.
